Aims, contents and method of the course

Rahmenthema: Ostmittel- und Südosteuropa in der deutsch- und englischsprachigen Historiographie.

Anhand historiographischer Texte sollen unterschiedliche, politisch und ideologisch bedingte Sicht- und Darstellungsweisen der Geschichte und Gesellschaften der beiden europäischen Großegionen und deren Teilregionen bzw. (National)staaten aufgezeigt und diskutiert werden.

Assessment and permitted materials

Es handelt sich um eine prüfungsimmanente LV (Anwesenheitspflicht!). Eine vegleichende Textanalyse mit Präsentation und Diskussion, ein schrifliches Konzept zur Präsentation und eine schriftliche Prüfung am Ende des Semesters werden für die Benotung herangezogen.
