Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The seminar on the final thesis serves to address problems of scientific research and writing based on the specific issues raised by the participants. A focus on final thesis projects in the field of women*'s and gender history is welcome but not a prerequisite.
Assessment and permitted materials
The course will feature presentations of participants' projects, feedback discussions, short exercises and discussions of selected texts on methodological and theoretical issues in historical research. Presentation and discussion of participants' own final thesis projects in written (exposé) and oral (PowerPoint presentation) form. Participation in feedback discussions on all participants' projects. Reading assignments.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Active and continuous participation in all parts of the course is expected and is a prerequisite for successful completion of the course.
