Aims, contents and method of the course

Die Vorlesung bietet eine Einführung in Grundzüge primär der politischen Geschichte des osteuropäischen Raumes. Sie fragt insbesondere nach dem Verhältnis des Moskauer Staates/Zarenreiches/Sowjetunion/Russländischen Föderation zu seinen Nachbarn im Westen, von Schweden und Polen-Litauen (und die jeweiligen Nachfolgestaaten) bis zum Schwarzen Meer und dem Balkanraum.

Assessment and permitted materials

Schriftliche Prüfung. Es werden vier Essaithemen vorgegeben, aus denen zwei auszuwählen sind.
