Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Presentation of a school teaching lecture, participation at an event related to civic and human rights education and writing of a critical refletion, elaboration of a seminar paper constisting of two parts, a scientific research and a didactic approach.

Aims, contents and method of the course
Ausgehend von den historischen Grundlagen werden die wesentlichen politikwissenschaftlichen und rechtswissenschaftlichen Begriffe, Methoden und Grundlagen anhand dreier Themenschwerpunkte vermittelt:
1) Recht und Gerechtigkeit
2) Grundrechte (Menschenrechte)
3) Asyl- und Fremdenrecht als praxisbezogener Schwerpunkt
Abgerundet wird die LV durch voraussichtlich drei Lehrausgänge: 1) Besuch einer Gerichtsverhandlung am Landesgericht für Strafsachen Wien 2) Besuch des Bundeskanzleramtes 3) Besuch des Vienna International Centre (VIC)
