We pursue our research with biographical interviews of workers, politicians and managers; with an analysis of media coverage of the textile industry in a global context with a focus on triumph; with the evaluation of statistical data and archival material documenting strategies of the company and the development of the region; as well as with the analysis of pictures, films and objects.
We will begin with a brief review of the literature read in the first semester and the research results already obtained. Following this, the collection of sources and the interviewing process will be continued. In the second part of the seminar, thematically structured working groups will begin to work on the data. The aim is to prepare an exhibition on the topic of the seminar, which should be completed in the winter semester. Participation is possible for this term only but also for the entire academic year.
