Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The excursion will explore Czech modern music, art and architecture in Brno. It will be centered around Leoš Janáček, but we will also visit major architectural monuments like the Villa Tugendhat and museums. We will attend a concert of the Janáček Festival, and there will be a meeting with students from Brno (most likely with English as language of communication).
After the excursion students will write a research paper or essay to deepen their experience in Brno.
