Aims, contents and method of the course
From a cultural-historical perspective, the salt industry, the development of the tourist region, and the period of National Socialism are analyzed. Myths are deconstructed, the question of memory is discussed, regional and national identity formation is questioned.
Assessment and permitted materials
First reflections on a didactic concept for a certain topic or place of the Salzkammergut (presentation during the excursion)
Final thesis: elaboration of the didactic concept (incl. subject-related content).
