The Seminar consists of several preparatory sessions and a block Seminar from November 20th to 23rd, 2017 in the Monastery of Stift Zwettl, Lower Austria, and a final discussion in January 2018. Participation in the Excursion to the Waldviertel is compulsory.

The Seminar treats steps in the process of church reform during the Middle Ages from the Carolingian reforms up to the Reformation. Participants will present papers at the seminar block orally with a written handout given before the block, take actively part in the discussions and hand in a final written paper afterwards. Participation in the Excursion to the Waldviertel is expected.
