The excursion will explore the traces of the horror and violence of two dictatorships, as well as the Jewish and alternative counterworlds since the 1920s, away from the usual tourist hotspots. The coexistence of over 150 nationalities has been a topic of political and cultural debate since the 1960s and shapes Berlin's music, nightlife and households every day. The aim and method of the course are to clarify these phenomena and to experience them independently but in a guided manner.
