Aims, contents and method of the course

Students will learn how to design a research project. "Migration" represents a central topic of historical research. It concerns people, things/objects and ideas. The seminar covers several periods from the Middle Ages to the present.
Methodologically, the seminar advances step by step with regard to how to design a research project. The individual project can be, of course, the first step towards the master's thesis.

The main piece is the research proposal of about 50.000 characters.
