Aims, contents and method of the course

Der Kurs soll einen Überblick über die Geschichte des 1772 von der österreichischen Bürokratie erfundenen Galiziens vermitteln. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf dem österreichische Kronland, doch wird die Geschichte dieser Region vom Mittelalter bis zur Gegenwart behandelt. Referate des Lehrveranstaltungsleiters und der Mitglieder des Doktoratskollegs "Das österreichische Galizien und sein multikulturelles Erbe" werden ergänzt durch die Interpretation von ausgewählten Quellen und wissenschaftlichen Texten.
