Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The aim of the course is to present and discuss the current master's theses, diploma theses and dissertations (you need a supervisor for your thesis to register!). After the presentation of the participants, the respective contributions will be discussed intensively. For colleagues who are not supervised by us, please inform your respective supervisors about your presentation date. It would be desirable for your supervisor to be present at the presentation.

Assessment and permitted materials

Presentation of the Master's thesis and intensive participation in the discussion of the colleagues' presentations, participation in the excursions.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

As part of the course, you must present your topic in an elaborated form according to your current state of work. The presentation should take about 25 minutes and afterwards we will discuss for about 20 minutes. It is essential that you also take part in the discussion of the other presentations.

Examination topics

The presentation of one's own Master's thesis or dissertation topic, the conceptual categorisation of the topic, the evaluation "lege artis" of the source material are the basis for writing one's own thesis - this must be presented in the Master's seminar.
