Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The aim is to analyse and deconstruct the social handling and social functionalisation of history, to recognise its significance for historical politics as well as for individual and collective identity, and at the same time to develop a self-reflexive approach to historical culture. To this end, the theoretical considerations will also be placed in a practical teaching context.

Assessment and permitted materials

MC exam at the end of the VU (60 minutes)
Museum report

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

At least 50% of the maximum number of points in the written examination.
Positive evaluation of the museum report.
Both the MC exam and the museum report must be positively graded in order to positively complete the course.
