Aims, contents and method of the course

Die Vorlesung gibt einen Überblick über die politische, soziale und wirtschaftliche Geschichte Osteuropas vom Ersten Weltkrieg bis zum Zerfall des "Ostblocks" mit einembesonderen Schwerpunkt auf der Zeit nach 1945. Ausgehend von einer Einführung in Grundlagen, Charakteristika, Gemeinsamkeiten und Gliederungen der historischen Region wird angestrebt, Basis- und Orientierungswissen aufzufrischen, Kontext- und Detailinformation auszubauen und zu vertiefen.
