Aims, contents and method of the course

Inhalt: Im Rahmen des GR werden Quellen und wissenschaftliche Texte zu den bahnbrechenden und grenzenüberschreitenden Auswirkungen des Buchdrucks auf das östliche Europa unter Einbeziehung diskursanalytischer Methoden gelesen und interpretiert.
Methoden: Recherchieren (haptisch), lesen, interpretieren, diskutieren.
Ziel: Bewusstmachung, welchen Impact der Buchdruck durch die Reformationen und das Drucken von Büchern in den jeweiligen Volkssprachen erfuhr, wie diese dadurch erstmalig kodifiziert wurden, welche Schwierigkeiten die Logistik und Distribution überwinden musste, wie gering die Frage der Rentabilität im Zusammenhang mit dem Konfessionellen war.

Assessment and permitted materials

Art der Leistungskontrolle: Regelmäßige aktive Mitarbeit., mehrere kleinere Hausübungen (u.a. haptische Suche nach Begriffsdefinitionen/kartographischen Darstellungen in Lexikas, Enzyklopädien und Atlanten), Selbstevaluation.
