Aims, contents and method of the course

Knowledge communication in the Middle Ages and the early modern period

Whether it's about time and eternity, about the primum mobile, about heaven and earth, man and nature; knowledge is always created, received and taught.
What role do textbooks play in knowledge communication?
Who creates Corpora?
The seminar will discuss communication of knowledge between universities and learned (secular and clerical) elites outside of them.

Regular Attendance
Preparation of a specific topic to be chosen from the framework topic
Exposé (10 days before presentation)
Presentation in Class-Room, 20 Minutes
Thesis of 25 pages, min. (Times new Roman, SG 12; Footnotes 10), line spacing 1.5
