Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The course serves as an introduction to the research and planning of scientific work in the field of global history. It focuses on the role of media in shaping images of 'the Other' in text. We will look at a broad range of media (e.g. broad-sheets, scientific illustrations, paintings, photographs, film/TV, social media) and genres (scientifc texts, information, advertisments, art, propaganda, cartoons/caricatures, etc).
