Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The methods for writing a thesis that are common in the field of cultural studies and humanities are learned and applied step by step. The participants' topics are addressed explicitly. At the end of the course, everyone should have made significant progress; part of their thesis - concept, structure, introduction, chapter drafts and a text about the planned result of the thesis - should have been written. Each participant receives feedback after submitting the subtasks.
Assessment and permitted materials
Participation in the teaching units, submission of smaller individual contributions, written concepts and elaborated text passages of the final thesis.
The use of aids, encyclopedias, specialist literature, etc. is desired.
