Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
"Humanism", the "Scientific Revolution" and the "Enlightenment" are stable elements in a Western narrative of progress and modernism; but how can we address these phenomena in the light of a history of science, scholarship and ideas that is inspired by praxeology, and framed in a global perspective? The course will introduce students, by way of a broad overview, to the topic both in terms of content and methodology.
