Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This course studies the modern history of Lebanon from the Emirate in the 16th C. to the eve of the 1975 war. It will highlight the developments leading to the emergence of the State of Greater Lebanon, the French Mandate, and the social, economic and political developments since Independence.
Assessment and permitted materials
