Aims, contents and method of the course

The course supplements and elaborates the lecture "Introduction to Global History" No. 070461 and can be chosen only in combination with this lecture. Lecture and course are obligatory introductory classes within Module 1 of the Master Curriculum Global History.
Language of discussion: German and English according to students' needs.
Didaktics: Reading and discussion of key texts; students are expected to actively cooperate in class, to write short papers and to orally present them. Obligatory readings partly will be provided online, partly by master copies at the desk of the History Library.
