Aims, contents and method of the course

Die Lehrveranstaltung bietet eine Einführung in Quellen, Methoden und Theorien der Sozial- und Wirtschaftsgeschichte. Am Beispiel von Arbeit und Lebensunterhalten vom 18. bis zum 20. Jahrhundert werden die wichtigsten sozial- und wirtschaftsgeschichtlichen Fragestellungen und Zugänge verdeutlicht. Das "making of" sozial- und wirtschaftsgeschichtlicher Forschung wird auf der Grundlage von Fachliteratur, aber auch einzelnen Quellenbeispielen diskutiert.

regelmäßige Teilnahme und Mitarbeit, Lektüre, kleinere schriftliche Arbeiten und eine schriftliche Abschlussprüfung.
