Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Before the growth of liberal capitalism, Poverty was a structural phenomenon. Throughout 16th to 18th centuries, Charity (from Christian tradition, is a virtue picking up from medieval theology, with a strong stamp during the Reformation) became a cultural phenomenon in order to restore the society.
In this course, we study how Poverty and Charity from a real routine operated from several Charity Institutions.
