Aims, contents and method of the course

The aim of the course is to familiarise students with the most important drawing and printing techniques, their development and function in a cultural-historical context. The focus is on identifying a technique based on its characteristics.
Learning contents are primarily taught using PowerPoint presentations, which will be available to students a few days later.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Minimum requirement and assessment standard:

At least 50% of the points must be achieved for a positive grade.

Grading scale: 87% to 100%: 1; 75% to 86.99%: 2; 63% to 74.99%: 3; 50% to 62.99%: 4; 0% to 49.99: 5.

Examination topics

The exam questions refer exclusively to the text on the white-backed slides at the beginning of each presentation. Illustrations will not be examined in the MC test; they are for illustrative purposes only. The presentations will be made available for download as a PDF after each lesson.
