Semesterschlussexamen.

2013 will be eligible for the end of term exam.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The course introduces into the concepts of an aesthetics of the
everyday and their background, stemming especially from Dewey's
aesthetics. Along the themes developed by chosen authors it highlights
aspects of an aesthetics apt to feed the epistemologies and methodologies
of cultural anthropology.

Examination topics

The participants will be led through the reading in which they
are supposed to participate by active lecture.

Reading list

Writings, mainly in English, by de Certeau, Berleant, Carlson,
Saito and others will be made available in an electronic repository to
enrolled participants.
