In the lecture „Kunstgeschichte im Überblick IV" a new hybrid mode will be tested. It aims to include the dialogue with the students in the course despite a very high number of listeners, which is expected to be far above 400. The individual lecture manuscripts and presentations will be made available on Moodle for reading and viewing prior to the respective lecture dates (except for the first unit). Forums set up on Moodle offer the opportunity to ask subject-related questions; it is desirable that you also formulate your own attempt at an answer. The lectures themselves will take place in the lecture hall and will be simultaneously streamed (but not recorded). Their purpose is to recap and expand on the material provided in advance and to answer subject-specific questions (including those formulated in the forums). Throughout the process, the tutorial led by Franca Spengler also plays an important role. It serves above all to discuss the required reading on the history of architecture, which complements the lectures and is also made available on the study platform. The fact that the tutorial is an integral part of the college is already evident at the level of scheduling. Eleven lecture units will be supplemented by four tutorial units, with an intermittent rotation starting in April. Like the lecture, the tutorial sessions will take place in the lecture hall and will be streamed simultaneously. The scheduled dates are April 6, May 4, May 25, and June 22, each during lecture time.
