Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The series of lectures will introduce into the methology of research and documentation in the field of scientific architectural history. Many examples taken from practical research of the professor will illustrate this. Additionally different technological methods will be explained, being in use in architectural research. Together with this the correct terminology in architectural history will be explained to be used in written documentations.

Assessment and permitted materials

The test will comprise the wohle contents of the lectures. Their text and slides will be published by the professor on the platform "moodle". The test will take place in "open-book"-form, which means the candidate can take insight in written scripts. Copying the text of the lectures is not allowed and will result in disqualification of the answer.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The written test comprises 5 questions. Depending on correctness and quality the answers will be valutated with 0 up to 20 points for each answer. To acheive a positive result of the test at leaset 50 points will be required. The qualification-key according to this system will appear together with the questions.

Examination topics

The questions will comprise the whole contents of the lectures, and the answers shall proof the candidate's knowledge in overview

During the series of lectures a sumptuous bibliography will be publishes on platform "moodle" and during the lectures information hints will be given.
