080019 EX Excursion: Venice (Biennale) (2007W)

The focus of the study tour is Contemporary Art, but also the special selection of artists made by the very curators of the different countries, and beyond that the dialogue of the exhibited objects/installations etc. with its exhibition site (pavilions in the giardini etc.). Of special interest are the countries which participate in the Biennale di Venezia for the first time or/and are involved in political respectively sociological changes. Interdisciplinary methods therefore have to be applied.

Verbal contributions and the paper given in Venice will be taken into consideration.
