Aims, contents and method of the course

Die Vorlesung spannt einen Bogen über die Kunstentwicklung der Gotik vom Ende des 12. Jahrhunderts bis zum Anfang des 16. Jahrhundert. Dabei soll nicht nur (streng nach den Gattungen Architektur, Skulptur und Malerei) kunsthistorisches Basiswissen vermittelt werden, es werden auch allgemeine zeitspezifische Tendenzen erörtert und kulturwissenschaftliche, sozialhistorische und umweltgeschichtliche Fragen miteinbezogen.

Frontalunterricht.
