Aims, contents and method of the course
Die Vorlesung verfolgt die Aufnahme und Verwendung von chinesischer Kunst im Europa des 18. Jhs. Dabei besprechen wir Sammlungen, Innenausstattungen und Bauwerke in Österreich und zahlreichen weiteren Staaten. Einzelne Kontexte werden genau betrachtet und analysiert, um verbreitete generalisierte Vorstellungen, Begriffe und Konzepte zu diesem Themenkreis zu hinterfragen.
