Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This lecture course will provide a survey of the historical and art historical development of the Peloponnese peninsula especially during the Byzantine period. Special focus will be placed on the various cultural influences that played a central role in the architecture, painting and intellectual history of the area in particular during the late Middle Ages.
