Aims, contents and method of the course

Die Exkursion legt in einer Rundreise einen Schwerpunkt auf mittelalterliche und neuzeitliche islamische Architektur in Zentral- und West-Iran (Qazwin, Sultaniyya, Shiraz, Isfahan, Kashan, Teheran). Weitere Themen sind antike Denkmäler und ihre spätere Rezeption (Persepolis, Pasargadae) und moderne Kunst in Teheran.
