Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The traditional condition of our objects of history of art and architecture is crucially influenced by actions taken in the interest of the preservation of monuments and historic buildings over time. This lecture intends to give an insight into the cultural continuity as well as into the time-dependent, historical variations of purposes concerning monumental preservation.
Examination topics
By means of different problems and goals of monumental preservation, a broad consideration is being made in terms of the principles and results concerning actions taken in the interest of monumental preservation in the course of history as well as today.
