Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
Different tasks during the Semester: For example: Preparation of the visit of an exhibition and the analysis of one ore more works (acquaintance of all technical data of work/s and biographical data of author/s; preparation of questions for the joint analysis); or: Presentation of an analysis of a work or an exhibition review.
For every participant: written essay (analysis of a work or exhibition review) of 9-12.000 signs.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The readiness for preparatory and multiple visits of the shows we discuss (and the readiness to buy the entrance tickets, at best: permanent passes of some relevant institutions like the Mumok) is assumed. - Requirement and criterium of judgement are the ability to observe and analyze works and exhibitions in a nuanced way and to verbalize observations precisely. The latter implies the grammatical correctness and logical coherence of the concluding essay (of 9-12.000 signs).
