Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Together with detailed informations on the historical and ecclesiastical background the architectural development in Austria from late 12th century until 1278 will be presented with special reference on the arstistic orientation of the contractors, which are the dukes of Austria and the bishops of Passau either. The lectures are following the methodology of architectural history and will be given as powerpoint presentations.

Assessment and permitted materials

Evaulation by means of written test in front of slides. 5 questions, each of one within 10 minutes, are to be answered. Depending on the quality of the answers the valutation will be calibrated.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The written test shall prove a general konwledge of the discussed material. For a positive result at least 3 answers have to be correct.

Examination topics

The material of the written test are the contents of the lectures. Text and slides will be published during the semestre at rthe latform "Moodle's". The use of an indivcidual script will be consented.

Reading list

A list of bibliography will be distriobuted at the first session and consequently will be puiblished at the platform "Moodle's"
