Aims, contents and method of the course

The overwhelming amount of pictures leads to rethink "the picture" in aesthetic, historical, religious-science and political ways. Transdisciplinarity is the basis. Excursions to churches and artists in Vienna are planned.
Supposed are positive participation in Proseminars1-4 and knowledge in English to read special articles.
Requested are interest in different aesthetics, cultures and religions and personal opinion

Assessment and permitted materials

Examination: verbal report (20 minutes), script (7-10 pages), participation in discussions.
