Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Art historical analyses of the changing relationships between imaging and writing in the works Paul Klee, René Magritte and Marcel Broodthaers and other artists, starting off from (and critically commenting on) Michel Foucault's famous essay "Ceci n'est pas use pipe".

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Participants should be able to do art historical research, ask relevant questions and solve them, give art historical talks and present well-argued and well-written papers.
Examination topics
This is a seminar, so there will be no exam.
