Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
In the bachelor seminar, a final paper (bachelor thesis) of usually about 55,000 characters (including spaces) is to be written. This empirical-ethnographic or historical research project on a clearly defined topic will be supported and commented in its conception and execution in front of the virtual plenum and in individual virtual office hours. The most important steps (to be presented and discussed in the seminar) are the choice of a concrete research question and the corresponding methodology, the exploration of the state of research, the generation, processing and evaluation of material and finally (during the semester) the writing of the results.
Assessment and permitted materials
Examination-immanent LV. Regular attendance and participation,
Independent research work and writing of a supervised thesis (Bachelor thesis B) of usually 55,000 characters (including spaces). The basis of the assessment is the written BA thesis.
