An initial lecture and the distribution of the topics for the conferences will be held on March 31st 2016 at 11.00 AM at Institute of Art History, Garnisongasse 13/ floor 1, room 5. The presentation of he conferences will take place during he first half of June 2016. The exact timing will be fixed in March 2016. The final paper must be presented before November 30th 2016

Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The applied methodology is architectural history. The material will be divided in 20 different topics which will be distributed personally to the students on March 31st 2016.

Assessment and permitted materials

The professor will evaluate the student's work resulting in his presentation at the conference, his participation at the discussions of all other conferences under the professor's leadership and and the final paper according to scientific regulations.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Research work has to be delivered in an oral, illustrated presentation of a conference of at least 30 minutes and a written paper according to scientific regulations. The student has to be present during all conferences.

Examination topics

Following an initial lecture to be held by the leader of the seminar the participants will receive a bibliography and subsequently will develop their results, which they have to present in conferences in June 2016. The final paper, which shall include also the results of the discussions under the professor's leadership has to be delivered until November 30th 2016.

Reading list

The concerning bibliography will be distributed at the initial lecture.
