Aims, contents and method of the course

The question is, which "baroque" elements one can find in modern and contemporary art and visual culture, in what respect the term "baroque" is appropriate to envisage critically artistic and cultural strategies and phenomena and which perhaps unexpected perspectives on a historical period emerge from references made by artists and theorists.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The seminar will be structured like a small joint scientific project and show, how to develop scientific questioning, how to conceptualize, and give hints to a possible realization.
