Aims, contents and method of the course

Sechs ProfessorInnen stellen Breite und Schwerpunkte des Wiener Institutes für Kunstgeschichte anhand eigener Forschungs- und Lehrschwerpunkte vor. Es wird kein Überblick (über Kunstwerke und Epochen) vermittelt, sondern - exemplarisch - Themen und Ansätze der Kunstgeschichte aufgezeigt.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Ziel des Propädeutikums ist es, in die Vielfalt von Fragestellungen, Methoden, Institutionen und Praxisfelder der Kunstgeschichte einzuführen.

Examination topics

Vorlesung mit Pflichtlektüre; fakultativ Besuch einer der angebotenen, begleitenden STEOP-Übungen (Werkbeschreibung vor Originalen).
