Aims, contents and method of the course

Überblick über die politische und kulturelle Geschichte der Zeit von ca. 4000 bis 500 v. Chr. in der östlichen Hälfte des Mittelmeerraums.
Vorlesung, wobei gelegentliche Fragen durchaus erwünscht sind.

Assessment and permitted materials

Klausur am Ende des Semesters.

Essay-artige Beantwortung von 2 aus 8 Fragen.
