Imperial mausolea in Late Antiquity and Early Christian/Byzantine
period: architecture, decoration and topographic context compered to
semi-privileged burials in the cemeteries and catacombs (decorations,
relation with the cult of Saints, pilgrimage etc.). As for example the
circiform basilicas and imperial mausolea in Rome, the Church of the
Holy Apostles in Constantinople; first burrials of the Popes in
Callisto Catacomb etc.
