Aims, contents and method of the course
translation and interpretation of representative passages of important medieval Latin works as a supplement to the content of the lecture "Überblick über die mittellateinische Literatur"; but it is also possible to participate in this lecture (Lektüre) without taking part in the lecture "Überblick".
Assessment and permitted materials
at home preparation of the texts for the next lesson with dictionary, in the last lesson oral translation of a short passage of one of the texts that were read and interpreted during the semester without aid
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
the texts for the next lesson have always to be prepared, more than half of the translation at the end of the lecture has to be correct in order to pass the examination
