Aims, contents and method of the course
Survey of the Latin pagan and christian bucolic poetry in Antiquity (Virgil, Calpurnius, Nemesianus, Pomponius, Endelechius), in the Middle Ages (Modoinus, Paschasius Radbertus, Metellus from Tegernsee, Marcus Valerius, Dante Alighieri) and in Humanism (Petrarca, Boccaccio, Mantuanus, Pontano, Sannazaro); inter- and intratextual interpretation of representative parts of the poems
