Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

In Fortsetzung von Teil I der oben genannten Lehrveranstaltung (Vorlesung mit Übungscharakter) wird die Entwicklung der griechischen Schrift von der Jahrtausendwende bis zum Beginn der Neuzeit rekonstruiert; dies selbstverständlich im Kontext der Buch- und Kulturgeschichte.

Assessment and permitted materials

Begleitend zum Vortrag durch die Lektüre der ausgewählten Beispiele; nach der Lehrveranstaltung mündliche Prüfung über den Stoff der Vorlesung und Lektüre eines Schriftbeispieles.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Das Ziel ist das Wissen um die Funktion des Buches in Byzanz, die Fähigkeit zur Lektüre von Handschriften in griechischer Minuskel und einer ungefähren Datierung der Manuskripte.

Examination topics

Vermittelt werden die Kenntnisse der Paläographie durch den Vortrag des Leiters der Lehrveranstaltung. Die Studenten sollten sich die Kenntnis der Lektüre griechischer Handschriften an Hand der Beispiele aneignen, die als Dokumentation der Schriftentwicklung gelesen werden.

Voraussetzungen: Absolvierung des ersten Teiles der Vorlesung bzw. gleichwertige Kenntnisse der Kodikologie griechischer Handschriften; Kenntnis des Altgriechischen.
