Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
In dieser Veranstaltung wird der Umgang mit dem Theorieangebot in den Geistes- und Kulturwissenschaften aus der Perspektive eines kulturwissenschaftlichen länderspezifischen Faches thematisiert. "Area Studies" leiden zum Teil darunter, dass sie viele fachspezifische Kenntnisse und Sprachkenntnisse Studierenden ohne Vorkenntnisse vermitteln müssen. Dadurch findet sich für die notwendige theoretische Einbettung des Wissens und der Wissenskultur wenig Platz im Studium. Die Veranstaltung soll anhand von konkreten Anwendungen von theoretischen Modellen im Bereich der Neogräzistik Optionen aufzeigen und zur Offenheit für den Theoriereichtum in Kombination mit methodischer Stringenz motivieren.

Voraussetzung:
Erfolgreich absolvierte STEP in einem kulturwissenschaftlichen Studium. Anrechenbar als Wissenschaftsgeschichte und-theorie (MA Byzantinistik und Neogräzistik, Modul N3 sowie als VO Neogräzistik (BA Byzantinistik und Neogräzistik, Modul 7) oder als UE Wissenschaftliches Arbeiten aus Byzantinstik/Neogräzistik (BA Byzantinistik und Neogräzistik Modul 4).
Erfolgreich absolvierte STEP in einem kulturwissenschaftlichen Studium.
