Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Nach dem Durchgang durch Formenlehre und Syntax in den vorangegangenen Kursen, rückt nun die Stilistik mehr in den Vordergrund. Anhand von Textpassagen insbesondere aus den Werken der griechischen Redner, aber auch von Philosophen und Historiographen wird die Fähigkeit geschult, die gedankliche Struktur eines zusammenhängenden Textes zu erfassen und im Griechischen abzubilden. Dabei sollen auch schon stilistische Eigenheiten der einzelnen Autoren zur Sprache kommen.
Zur Vorbereitung empfehle ich die Lektüre des Panegyrikos des Isokrates.
