Aims, contents and method of the course
History of the city of Thessaloniki on the basis of material culture (buildings, museums) in contrast with written sources.
Assessment and permitted materials
active participation at all meetings and discussions (20%). Oral presentation during the study trip (50%). Oral presentation during the review session (30%).
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Basic familiarity with the course content, and active participation at all meetings and discussions.
Examination topics
Independent reading and research.
Reading list
Suggested readings will be communicated in the course of the semester.
