Aims, contents and method of the course

In der Lehrveranstaltung werden Übersetzungen ausgewählter Texte erarbeitet und weniger bekannte syntaktische und grammatikalische Phänomene des Neugriechischen erklärt und geübt.

Assessment and permitted materials

Prüfungsimmanente Lehrveranstaltung: Anwesenheit, aktive Teilnahme und fristgerechte Abgabe sämtlicher Übungen und Hausarbeiten sind für einen positiven Abschluss unerlässlich.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Ziel der Lehrveranstaltung ist der Erwerb ausreichender Griechischkenntnisse zum selbständigen Lesen und Verstehen von Texten der Fachliteratur und der Quellen der Neogräzistik.

Examination topics

Repräsentative Textabschnitte aus verschiedenen Sprachschichten des Neugriechischen werden übersetzt und aus grammatikalischer und sprachlicher Sicht kommentiert. Darüber hinaus werden Methoden und praktisches Vorgehen bei der sprachlichen Erfassung der Texte geübt (Syntax, Grammatik, Wortgeschichte, Etymologie, Verwendung und kritische Verarbeitung von Informationen aus der Sekundärliteratur).
